Jesse T H Chang (CEO)

Jesse has been advising clients for over 30 years as a lawyer and a banker on both in-bound and out-bound investments relating to Greater China. Jesse is the Managing Partner of TransAsia Lawyers, and the founder of its Outbound Investment practice. He also maintains overall responsibility for TransAsia’s international client base.

Driven by his passion for cross-border transactions, Jesse first began exploring the concept of CGA in early 2011. It has evolved under his guidance ever since, reflecting his years of hands-on experience. Jesse’s vision for CGA is to create a dynamic platform which will not only provide useful, relevant and up-to-date information for Chinese investors, but which will also enable foreign asset owners to gain access to the China market.

On a more holistic level, CGA is intended to facilitate the international exchange of business opportunities and ideas, and to support harmonious, mutually respectful and mutually beneficial partnerships for commercial success and the benefit of society at large.

Helen Sunderland (Director)

Helen is a Swiss/British national who has been living and working in China for over 12 years. As a partner of TransAsia Lawyers, she focuses her practice on cross-border investments and commercial transactions. Helen is a founding member of the CGA team and oversees business development, corporate affairs/strategy, and the Europe and Arts & Culture sections. She also has a particular interest in philanthropy.

Cindy Lu (Chief Content Officer)

Cindy is a key member of TransAsia Lawyers’ Outbound Investment team with experience in the energy, minerals & resources, media, infrastructure and agribusiness sectors. She is a founding member of the CGA team. Cindy is responsible for CGA’s website content and product, and is an active member of the marketing and offline consulting teams.

Vam Zhang (Chief Technology Officer)

Vam has more than 12 years of e-commerce experience, including developing and operating several websites. Utilizing his fine arts and graphic design background, he is responsible for the user interface design and technical structure of the ChinaGoAbroad.com website. Vam manages the technical and design teams and is also responsible for online marketing.
