Sidney Yankson was instrumental in developing GCP’s 28MW solar PV project, which was awarded the runners-up prize at the West Africa Forum for Clean Energy Finance. Sidney has been a resident of West Africa for many years. He is a regular speaker and panel participant at leading industry conferences and roundtables, including:
Sidney has consulted for the German Development Bank, KFW, regarding the Ghanaian renewable energy market.
Prior to founding GCP, Sidney worked in finance for over 16 years in London and Hong Kong.
Sidney has BSc Physics (Durham), LLB (Hons) in Law (London), LLM in American Law (Boston) and Postgraduate Certificate in Law (Hong Kong University).
In his spare time Sidney enjoys ice hockey, rugby, snowboarding and royal tennis.
