The globally operating automobile component supplier and interior specialist Boxmark is pleased to have won contract orders in the three-digit million euro range over a period of seven years.
Many automobile component suppliers face major challenges due to the global upheaval taking place in the automobile industry. However, high quality component manufacturers for vehicle interiors such as the leather expert Boxmark seem to be able to defy the tough times. Over the past few weeks the company has been granted numerous large contract orders from the automobile industry. Top brands such as Porsche, BMW, VW and Audi source the leather and seat covers from the Styria-based component supplier. However, it is not only the German car producers who have confidence in the products developed by Boxmark. In the future, the Japanese car maker Toyota will also offer its SUV SW4 with exclusive leather supplied by the established Austrian manufacturer.
Boxmark has also profited from double-digit growth in its aviation industry operations. Numerous airlines (from Lufthansa and Emirates to Singapore Airlines) not only equip their first class and business class seats across the globe with the leather produced by the Austrian firm, but increasingly economy class seats as well.
Boxmark Leather ranks among the world's leading suppliers of high-quality leather products for the automobile, furniture, aviation, rail and shipping industries. The company's staff of 7,000 employees produces more than 14 million m² of upholstery leather annually at ten sites located across the globe and processes the material into exquisite leather components.
