China is promoting the “Silk Road Economic Belt” initiative in Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. From a strategic perspective, this means the alignment of the development strategies of the three countries. Such a strategic alignment in turn has enabled comprehensive strategic partnership between China and the three countries. The integration of the strategic vision of the “Silk Road Economic Belt” with Eurasian economic union strategy will help promote and deepen pragmatic cooperation between countries to pursue common development.
