China to Advance Six Economic Corridors in Support of the “One Belt, One Road” Initiative

Ou Xiaoli, Head of the “One Belt, One Road” Initiative Steering Group and Inspector to the “Opening up West” Division under China’s National Development and Reform Commission, stated in his speech at the The Fifth High-level Energy Dialogue that China has now completed the high-level framework of the “One Belt, One Road” Initiative, and the next step will be devoted to the construction of six economic corridors, namely, the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, the New Eurasian Land Bridge, the China-Central Asia-Western Asia Corridor, the China-Indochina Peninsula, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Corridor.
