The Italian Senate has just approved some modifications to the law on the Investor visa for Italy. In order to enter into force, these changes must be approved by the House of deputies (expected September 14)
The application for the Italy Investor Visa Clearance (“Nulla Osta”) can be filed also using a company controlled by the appicant
Investor permit holders are exempted from the Integration Agreement obligations, i.e. language test etc.
Investor permit holders are no longer required to spend a minimum amount of time in Italy
If the changes are approved the Italian immigrant investor program will become more attractive and will make moving to Italy easier for investors.
