The below analysis is based on the Climate Bonds GBDB as of 8 April 2022, unless otherwise specified.
Climate Bonds identified USD10.4bn worth of green bonds and loans aligned with Climate Bonds GBDB from Hong Kong issuers in 2021. This represented the highest volume on record, with four times YoY growth. Hong Kong’s cumulative green debt o ering aligned with Climate Bonds GDBD had reached USD20bn by the end of 2021.
