The company Porsche Informatik (Porsche Informatics) opened a new lab at Softwarepark Hagenberg in March 2021.
The company aims at optimally leveraging synergies at the site operated jointly with the University of Applied Sciences Hagenberg as well as renowned research institutions and IT companies. "Our aim is to transforms our new facility at Softwarepark Hagenberg into our 'breeding ground' for IT talents", explains Porsche Informatik Managing Directors Rainer Trischak and Manfred Immitzer. Porsche Informatik plans to supervise project work and dissertations as well as active scouting directly at the site. This also encompasses joint work and research with the lecturers and students at the university of applied sciences on innovative projects relating to IT topics such as robotics and data science.
On balance, more than 70 companies are already represented at the IT location in Hagenberg. The Softwarepark Hagenberg hosts specialised employees, research and corporate partners who are national and international leaders in software, from basic research to application.
