Japan's Friendship Ties Programs JENESYS 2019 ASEAN Outbound Program 5th Batch

Twenty one Japanese high school students and others are scheduled to visit Vietnam from January 10 to 18, 2020 as part of the Japan’s Friendship Ties Programs “JENESYS 2019” promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

In Vietnam, the group will observe the sites and facilities which was funded by Japan’s ODA and visit Quang Nam, Danang, and Hanoi so forth, they will learn the relationship between Japan and Vietnam, and deepen the knowledge of Japanese contribution to Vietnam. Furthermore, through the experience of school exchange, tree planting, and other activities, they are expected to have a better understanding of culture and society of Vietnam. And through the home visit program, they are also expected to communicate with people of Vietnam and appeal Japanese culture during each programs.

Through this program, we hope the participants proactively share the appeals of Japan and other information after returning to Japan and it ties the relationships between Japan and Vietnam.
