Notwithstanding the issuance of this resolution, please note that foreigners that intend to work in Iraq are still required to apply for a work-permit prior to traveling to Iraq and they are not permitted to do so while in the country on an entry-visa.

This resolution will facilitate the process for obtaining an Iraqi visa and encourage foreign investors to travel to Iraq.
