Speaking on summer flights to Europe, Ole Orvér, Finnair’s Chief Commercial Officer, added, “For example, the Bergen and Bodø routes are seamlessly connected to our flights to Japan.” Bodø is a new destination for Finnair.

Finnair has bumped up its summer flights to Europe for 2023 with new destinations that include Ljubljana, Bodø, and Milan Linate Airport. The airline has updated its traffic program for short-haul flights in the summer season 2023 and will fly to more than 50 destinations in Europe, adding frequencies to several European destination capitals such as Berlin, Copenhagen, Vilnius, and Riga.

The completely renewed Helsinki Airport hub offers airline customers a fast and smooth transfer experience for other airlines as well.

From the United States, airline passengers can fly into the Helsinki hub via Lufthansa, Icelandair, Scandinavian Airlines, KLM, and Aeroflot. Internationally, other popular airlines that fly into the popular Finland airport are Turkish Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, FLYUIA, AirBaltic, Qatar Airways, flydubai, Japan Airlines, TAP Air Portugal, Norwegian Air Shuttle, and EasyJet.

Helsinki Airport is being described as the Airport of the Future since its refurbishment. Airport company Finavia has introduced next generation technology at Helsinki Airport to make security control quicker and easier, and all flights are now centralized in one terminal. Additionally, state-of-the-art technology provides new scanning and liquid analysis equipment so passengers no longer have to remove from their hand baggage electronics and bags containing liquids. This new technology also means that means that laptops, phones, or large SLR cameras no longer need to be taken out of carry-on bags or hand baggage as well.

The airport has doubled its capacity to process customers, speeding up service at security control with new automated lines. The new spacious premises of the security control enables passengers to take the time they need to prepare and pack their luggage.
