State Grid’s Acquisition of 41.1% Equity in the South Australian Grid Approved

According to the latest Australian media reports, the South Australian grid ElectraNet’s transfer of equity to the State Grid Corporation of China has passed the Australia's Foreign Investment Review Board’s (FIRB) review, which means that State Grid has succeeded in acquiring 41.1% equity in the South Australian grid for AUD 500 million (USD 524 million).
