ABA-Invest in Austria

ABA–Invest in Austria, the national investment promotion agency of the Republic of Austria, is the first point of contact for foreign investors.

Twenty-five qualified employees consult and support firms quickly, unbureaucratically and at no cost in establishing companies in Austria, and offer customized information to international investors in the following areas:

• Austria as a business location – sectors, technologies and markets, political and economic conditions
• Issues relating to site selection such as labor and tax regulations, incentives or real estate prices
• Support in handling administrative procedures (operating licenses, funding applications, labor permits, visas, etc.)
• Establishing national and regional contacts
• Ongoing support for companies locating in Austria
• Contact partner for expansion investments

Location Austria, Austria’s national film commission, was founded in 1997 as a separate entity of ABA–Invest in Austria. It is the first point of contact and central information agency for international film productions in Austria.
