California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) Sutter Health:

We have extensive experience in advising medical institutions on real estate acquisition, development, and defense of legal challenges to project entitlements. A prime examples of this is our service as lead counsel for Sutter-affiliated California Pacific Medical Center’s $2.7 billion Long Range Development Plan, which includes a five-campus rebuilding project to modernize CPMC's system that provides health care for more than one third of San Francisco patients.

DISH Network L.L.C.:

New Markets Tax Credits:

Exploratorium:

When the Exploratorium, an internationally renowned museum of science, art and human perception, decided to relocate to a nine-acre 330,000 square foot campus on the Embarcadero in San Francisco, they chose Coblentz as lead counsel on all aspects of the development, leasing, subleasing and financing of the project.

California Academy of Sciences:

Coblentz is lead counsel for the California Academy of Sciences, handling its real estate, development, finance, intellectual property and litigation matters. The Academy, in Golden Gate Park, is a more than 300,000 square foot museum, aquarium, planetarium, associated retail space and amenities designed by world-famous architect Renzo Piano.

Tejon Ranch:

Heralded as one of the largest land use and conservation projects in California history, the Tejon Ranch deal represents one of Coblentz’s crowning achievements in this arena. We represented Tejon Ranch Co., a publicly traded company, in the negotiation of an agreement with five environmental resource organizations, including the National Resources Defense Council, Sierra Club and others, over the use of 422 square miles of largely undeveloped property along Interstate 5 approximately 60 miles north of Los Angeles.

San Francisco 49ers:

The work we’ve done as lead real estate and corporate counsel for the San Francisco 49ers and its affiliates includes large, complex, and seemingly impossible deals: everything from an ownership reorganization to a major real estate and land use project to advising on complex property and income tax and intellectual property issues. Our representation of the 49ers over the past 10 years has allowed us a unique opportunity to play a significant role in a major public/private partnership from inception to ground-breaking to operations.
