The Trade Promotion and Investment section (SECOM) of the Consulate-General in Shanghai works under the umbrella of the Trade and Investment Promotion Department of the Ministry of External Relations of Brazil.
SECOM Shanghai provides institutional support for Brazilian exporters, by gathering and disseminating information on business opportunities and demands for Brazilian products; supports the participation of Brazilian exporters in fairs and exhibitions and trade missions. SECOM Shanghai also provides institutional support for Chinese companies interested in making direct investment in Brazil.
The jurisdiction of the SECOM includes Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Shandong Provinces.
