The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. HIPA provides foreign investors high-quality support for critical investment decisions, and a wealth of supplementary services. HIPA helps investors through the whole investment process, through a one-stop shop service model. HIPA delivers macroeconomic and industry related data, information on governmental and EU co-financed subsidies, basic information on the regulatory circumstances, labor conditions, wages, tax system, etc. HIPA organizes and assists the whole location selection process of investors. We support foreign companies in identifying and contacting potential suppliers as well as consultant companies (e.g. law, HR, tax, marketing, engineering, etc.). Our services are free of charge.

Before the investment decision is made we provide the following services:

• tailor made incentive offers and information packages on the business environment, labour market, tax regulations,
• location search & evaluation, site visits,
• meetings with HR & real estate agencies, law firms and other consultants based on the client needs,
• reference visits at companies that are already established in Hungary,
• we give assistance with incentive applications.

After the investment decision:

• we are open to any feedback and mediate between government and business,
• we also support further expansion plans.
