IDA Ireland

IDA Ireland is an Irish Government funded organization whose main objective is to encourage investment into Ireland. Its objective is to create sustainable employment in Ireland by securing new investments from overseas and by encouraging existing overseas enterprises to expand their current Irish projects.

In particular IDA Ireland focuses on business sectors that can operate competitively in global markets from a base in Ireland including international financial services, information technologies and life sciences.

IDA Ireland works closely with client companies to help them assess opportunities in Europe and to support and assist them with establishing their operations in Ireland. IDA Ireland’s forward strategy in winning new inward investment is to continue to build on the business sectors, including the Medical Technology sector, that operate so successfully of Ireland at present and to ensure that Ireland takes advantage of new opportunities emerging in the global investment markets.

To this end, IDA Ireland has opened its first office in Shanghai, China, also worked as Economic section of General Consulate of Ireland, and welcomes the opportunity to work with Chinese business enterprises going overseas.
