Project Description


Saturno meat processing plant plans to make an investment of 15 million dollars to build a new plant capable of slaughtering 200 animals daily. This plant would meet the highest standards of food safety and security, so that in the medium term it can be enabled for export to the most demanding world markets, including China.

The company owns the plot of land in the department of Thirty-three (in the center-east of the country, near the border with Brazil) to install the investment. It has already obtained the support of the local government and is managing the corresponding permissions to start the works as soon as possible.

Saturno has its own capital for the first phase of the construction and its owners have great interest in finding investor partners in China for the next phase of the project, which implies the development of the capacities Exporters of the future plant.

The company has special interest in finding a Chinese investor who intends to internalize in the meat business and who actively participates in the development of the business relationship of the company with that country, so that the products reach the Asian market as soon as possible. Although this condition is not exclusive, it will be of weight at the time of opting for an investor or another.
