Project Description
Improvement of 193 km of Highway 5, with expansion of capacity (third lanes) in the areas around the cities of Talca and Chillán and a bypass for Talca. Important repair of existing surfacing, corrections to route to increase speed of traffic flow, new bridges and segments of service roads, improvement of eastwest access through flyovers and new roads. Includes the incorporation of electronic toll collection (free-flow).
