Master development team for Kura Kura Bali or Bali Turtle Island Development is under the Giti Group founded in the 1930s with interests in real estate, manufacturing, retail and development and natural resource development in the Asia Pacific Region.
The Kura Kura Bali Turtle Island in the making is engaging world leading architects and consultants including the world’s largest masterplanning firm AECOM and Harvard-Beijing University Professor Yu Kong Jian from Turenscape a leader in ecology, and master plan review by Pritzker Prize and legendary architect Frank Gehry.
Distinguished advisors for the project include former Indonesian Minister of Culture and Tourism of Indonesia I Gede Ardhika, presently the Indonesia Commission for the United Nations World Tourism Organization, the former lady Minister Mari Pangestu who held various portfolios including the Minsiter of Trade and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, she is now the President Director of United in Diversity Foundation that will develop a major Creative Campus in Kura Kura Bali, and former Singapore Minister Mah Bow Tan with extensive portfolios including Environment, Communications and last but not least National Development of Singapore.
The property team leading the project Ong Beng Kheong have hailed as former CEO of Singapore Sentosa Cove, a premier island destination in Singapore, as well as head of ASCENDAS in the region, Ng TJ led luxury development with international architect Norman Foster in the building of Capella Singapore, as well as large scale infrastructure and capital airport projects, Vincent Chiu has led projects such as the Hong Kong Convention Center and for the group award winning projects Three on the Bund, Lakeside Ville in Shanghai.
