The Uruguayan government is currently analyzing the feasibility of establishing another pulp plant in Uruguay.
This would be the first one, after the establishment of Finnish Botnia/UPM (2007), and Montes del Plata (Finnish-Chilean capitals – 2015).
International financing and infrastructure work (ports, railroads, roads, etc.) would be required.
Estimated investment: USD 5 billion.
