With the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of the People's Republic of China, the 8th China Overseas Investment Fair (COIFAIR) will be held at the Beijing Exhibition Center, PRC on 20-21 October 2016.
As the premier event in the field of China outbound investment, COIFAIR organizes expos, investment seminars, project presentations and promotions and high-level meetings to gather enterprises, financial institutions, service providers, government departments, international organizations, business associations, research institutions and other entities. It brings together different countries, capital, projects, information, experts, services and other key elements and offers copious investment opportunities and cooperation prospects. It is a platform for Chinese enterprises to go abroad and for all participants to develop international bilateral and multilateral investment cooperation; also a portal for foreign entities to attract Chinese investments. Each year, COIFAIR attracts participants from over 100 countries and regions, is used by more than 1,000 major state-owned enterprises and well-known privately held companies from China as a platform to network with foreign investment agencies, and is covered extensively by both Chinese and foreign influential mainstream media.
Guided by the national strategy of “Going Global", the 8th COIFAIR’s theme is "Production Capacity Cooperation Fuels Up Win-win Development”; focusing closely on "world cooperation of production capacity'*; propelling the development of the "One Belt One Road” Initiative (the Belt and Road); actively facilitating China's major industries to expand extensive cooperation with foreign businesses; as well as realizing mutual benefits for win-win results.
COIFAIR will offer an effective platform for communication and collaboration during the two-day session. During this time, representatives from key countries and regions situated along the routes of the Belt and Road will introduce the investment climates, policies and projects in their respective countries or regions to promote connectivity and seek mutual development. Also, Chinese companies in the field of infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, e-commerce, logistics, tourism, building materials, railway, automobile, chemical, machinery, high technology, aviation, telecommunication, energy, real estate and textile will participate in matchmaking meetings. Additionally, more than 20 national provinces and cities will showcase their regional competitive industries.
