6th Annual Civil Helicopter Industry International Forum

【Event Background】

China Aviation Industry Development and Research Center foresees that the scale of civil helicopters in China will reach more than 3,500 by 2027 and market capability of helicopter production and sales alone will probably reach USD14.4 billion, which will stimulate nearly trillion market with reference to the ratio of input and output 1:8, and the sales growth of 1% in helicopters will pull 0.714% of the Gross Domestic Product growth.

By 2040, helicopter scale will exceed 10,000, combined market share of ultra-light and light helicopter will achieve 76.9%, while medium and large helicopter market share is 14.2% and 8.5% respectively. Furthermore, Chinese navigation flight time will likely break through 8 million hours by 2040, and Chinese general aviation market and aircraft scale continue to expand.

Viewed from policy, low-altitude airspace management reform has been put into Chinese 14th Five-year Plan, implementing airspace resource classification refined management to optimize the national air route network. Meanwhile, strengthen the capacity for airworthiness certification, and promote the demonstration operation of C919 jets and the serialized development of ARJ21 regional jets, heavy-lift helicopters and plateau type UAV, etc. As well as consolidate the development of intelligent storage and distribution facilities and equipment.

The whole helicopter industry chain will get together in the forum, OEMs, general aviation (GA) operators, research units, governments and associations, main-system/sub-system suppliers, parts & components suppliers, manufacturers at home and abroad, solution providers. Keep abreast of the industry frontier development trends and industrial layout, and jointly explore the future development opportunities and challenges of civil helicopter industry, committing to innovation and promoting the integrated development of all segments of the industrial chains.
