In the framework of the visit of President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner to China, the Foreign Ministry will conduct a multisectoral trade mission to that country. Activities will epicenter city of Beijing and developed between days 3 and 5 February, aiming to consolidate and diversify exports from Argentina to one of the most dynamic economies in the world stage.
The invitation to participate in the mission aimed especially at companies in sectors where it has detected a high potential for exports to China, such as food and beverages (in products such as, for example, beef, chicken, fish, dairy, fruit and citrus oils, wines), pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, professional services and biotechnology, among others. The selection of these sectors was based on an analysis of business intelligence developed by the Foreign Ministry.
Argentina's activities include business delegation participating in the Argentina-China Business Forum, which will take place on February 4. In the afternoon of that day and all the next day rounds of negotiations with Chinese counterparts and entrepreneurs will be made.
The trade mission to China is part of the activities under the Program Enhancement and Diversification of Exports Argentinas (PADEX), coordinated by the Foreign Ministry. This action is aimed at strengthening the bilateral relationship with China, second most important destination for Argentine exports, and open new opportunities for exports to that country.
