Locations

Most events will be held in Shanghai but some sector- specific events will be held in Beijing, Chengdu and Guangzhou.

Background

The Hon Mr Andrew Robb AO, MP, Minister for Trade and Investment is expected to lead an Australian Government trade, investment and tourism mission to China from 8-11 April 2014.

The mission aims to enhance bilateral relationships through high-level political and commercial exchanges, and to promote Australia as a trade, investment and education partner.

Australia Week in China (AWIC) is a government initiative which aims to promote Australia as a trade, investment, education and tourism destination with a program tailored to major industry sectors. The sector-specific networking events will raise understanding of doing business in China and enhance existing relationships with Chinese businesses.
