The Baltic Investors Forum this year will focus on future technologies and innovations which drive economies to the new era of competitiveness.

Not every emerging technology will change the business landscape, but some truly do have the potential to alter the status quo. Experts and business leaders will share their insights on automotive technologies and fuels, future transport and logistics, new energy and other innovations, in particular the fields where those innovations turn out to have the major economic effect.

BIF 2015 offers ideas and perspectives from highly renowed speakers such as Nobel Prize Winner, Economist Robert J. Shiller, Ted Fishman - journalist, best selling author, Hélène Barnekow, Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer at TeliaSonera, prof. Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett, Museum of History of Polish Jews, Mikael Lundin, CEO, Nord Pool Spot and more than 30 prominent speakers.

Over 120 Honorary Consuls of Lithuania are coming to the conference and bringing together foreign business delegations to meet with the participants

The second Baltic Investors Forum (BIF) will take place in Vilnius on the 4-5th of June, 2015

The biannual event bringing together more than 500 stakeholders provides a unique platform for leaders from the government, political parties, business, academia and civil society to discuss these issues as well as explore cooperation possibilities and growth initiatives in the Baltic area.

Programme

Today, global economy context has created new opportunities as well as new challenges for growing exports, attracting foreign direct investment through the means of country competitiveness, thus increasing internationalism of the global economy. How is it possible to place the regional business even more efficiently on the global map?

The agenda of the Baltic Investors Forum will focus on growth and competitiveness in the Baltic region directing the spotlight towards investment projects, innovations, international growth opportunities and public-private co-operation. To be relevant, the event is taking the SMART approach to be specific in cases, meaningful in proposed opportunities, aspiration, realistic and time-related to ongoing global processes.

Networking

Networking is particularly important part of the Forum. We all have an opportunity to surround ourselves with active and creative people and cloud up our social network streams with extraordinary individuals. Take your chance and get involved.

For the second time in succession, a special networking and matchmaking arrangement – B2B meetings – will be at the disposal of companies and enterprises in order to establish new business relationships and foster higher volume of trade and investment.
