China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services

The China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as the CIFTIS), jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, has a permanent home in Beijing since 2012. The World Trade Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development are permanent supporting institutions of the CIFTIS.

In January 2015, the State Council released Guideline on Accelerating the Development of China's Trade in Services, pointing out that "actively cultivate communication and cooperation platform for trade in services, and form the convention and exhibition pattern of trade in services which led by the China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services and supported by various professional exhibitions and forums".


The CIFTIS is a state-level, international and comprehensive exihibition and transaction platform for trade in services that cover 12 sectors of trade in services defined by the WTO, including business services. communication services, construction and related engineering services, financial services, tourism and travel-related services, recreational. cultural and sports services,transport services, health and social services, educational services, distribution services, environmental services,etc.

Upon such state strategies as "One Belt and One Road" and "Internet Plus", the 4th CIFTIS will keep on focusing on high-end service industry, highlighting competitive services in the world and selecting excellent examples of service and cases so as to enhance the international exchanges and integration for trade in services. International dignitaries, heads of international organizations, international business associations and multinational companies as well as trader and exhibitors in services will be invited to participate in summit, exhibitions, forums, business talks and various themed activites.



The exhibitions, with an area of 50,000 square meters, are composed of the comprehensive exhibition areas and themed exhibition areas. The former includes exihibition area of different provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as foreign countries and regions; the latter is divided into about 20 sectors, including technology services, e-commerce, TCM services, cultural trade, distribution services and copyright transaction, etc.


Over a hundred forums will center on new hot topics, new business formats and new fields during the development of international trade in services. Theme forums like the E- commerce Conference and the Express Service Transaction Conference have been communication platforms for frontier industrial trends and authoritative release windows for policies and information of their respective fields.

Business Talks

Business talks are achieved in multiple forms, including promotional releases, matchmaking communication, discussion and interaction, exhibition and demonstration, theme days, special activities and trade matchmaking, etc. The CIFTIS has launched the on-line XIFTIS Business Matching Platformu> which, in forms of on-line registration, intent submission and off-line negotiation, provides service providers and users with more precise ''customized services'1, effectively facilitates the transactions between suppliers and buyers and thus enhances the rate of successful transactions.
