On Wednesday, August 28th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Emerging China and Angelvest Group will hold a panel discussion entitled "Chinese Outbound Investment: Opportunities and Challenges. The event is supported by the China-Arizona Alliance, the Chicago China Club, the State of Oregon China Office, and the State of Mississippi China Office.

Ye Yin led BGI's buy out of Complete Genomics (GNOM). Basillio Chen has written a how to guide for Chinese companies to purchases companies in the US. Xiaoming Chen has been funding acquisitions and new ventures in the US and Europe and Sun Ning is with Hogan Lovells which was ranked number one for M&A law firms globally.
The discussion panel will start after drinks and networking at 7:15 p.m. and will be in Q&A format. It will cover the key issues Chinese companies should be aware of when venturing overseas and how to foster the sustainable development of Chinese companies globally.
