In light of China's dynamic life science industry expansion, we are delighted to invite you to our upcoming closed-door event "Swiss Healthcare Innovation in China: A Forward Overview on Business & Policies" on September 19, 2023, in Yale Center Beijing, hosted by the SwissCham Life Sciences Committee (LSC) of the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SwissCham). This event focuses on learning about and understanding the market development and key policies in China's life sciences industry. It serves as an important platform to facilitate exchange, learning, and partnerships.

The SwissCham Life Sciences Committee aims to elevate the visibility and facilitate the growth of Swiss Pharma and MedTech companies in China. With members including Novartis, Geistlich, Helsinn, Roche, Lonza, BeliMed, Ypsomed, EMS, Roche Diagnostics, BienAir, Sonova, and Straumann, the SwissCham LSC is committed to orchestrating activities, roundtable discussions, and other initiatives in the domains of policies, market trends, and digital transformation. The SwissCham Life Sciences Committee has received the endorsement of His Excellency Ambassador Juerg Burri at the Embassy of Switzerland in China and Martin Matter, Head of Economic, Finance, and Commercial Affairs.

On the occasion of its first event, the SwissCham Life Sciences Committee has organized a comprehensive program, including a presentation on the topic of "Volume-Based Procurement (VBP) and Localization", a panel discussion hosted by industry experts featuring the topic on "Localization" and how companies can proactively integrate evolving government regulations into their localization strategies to ensure long-term compliance. Finally, the event will host SwissCham Life Sciences Committee member companies to share their experiences while conducting business in China.
