The Jamaica International Exhibition (JIE) 2017 is an inaugural tradeshow that will be held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, Rose Hall, St. James from June 1-3.
The trade show, which is earmarked to welcome over 600 international buyers and suppliers , is welcomed by Senator Don Wehby, chairman of Jamaica Promotions (JAMPRO).
This one of a kind event, a first in terms of its size and magnitude, is being staged by the Jamaica Manufacturers' Association (JMA) and will see some 600 buyers and suppliers from within the Caribbean, South America, Canada, USA, United Kingdom and other parts of Europe as well as China.
Jamaica boasts a strong manufacturing, tourism and agriculture sector. There has also been tremendous growth in the business processing and creative industries. Suppliers of goods and services to the industries are invited to participate in the JIE.
JIE will allow an up close and personal atmosphere, aimed at discovering new markets and exploring untapped potentials.
EXHIBITORS: Local, regional and international companies in the areas of manufacturing, agriculture, business processing, retail and distribution, construction among others.
BUYERS: Buyers from all over the world seeking to do business, invest, export and retail products made in Jamaica and the Caribbean.
