The annual International Conference on Green and Energy-Efficient Building & New Technologies and Products Expo (IGEBC) is launched by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and initiated and organized by China Green Building Council, along with governments and associations at home and abroad. It has had eight annual sessions since 2005, with an increasingly large number of attendees under the background that Chinese government and international community give high attention to green building, taking it as an effective approach to cope with climate change. The conference this year takes “Reinforcing Management for All-round Promotion of Green Building Quality” as its theme. UK trade and Investment (UKTI) will hold a parallel seminar with Dept of Building Energy and Science and Technology, MOHURD as part of the IGEBC programme to show the capability and expertise in Low carbon constructions, Eco-cities and Green building.
This seminar is organised by The British Embassy Beijing, UK Trade and Investment, Dept of Building Energy and Science and Technology, MOHURD and the China-Britain Business Council.
