Please join us for this unique evening of sharing ideas, experience, and inspiration.
Started in 1997, University for a Night offers leaders from business, government, civil society, and philanthropy a space to learn from each other and to make connections that will help address poverty and other critical social issues.
University for a Night also raises funding for Synergos’ work with partners around the world to overcome poverty.
Following an opening reception, University for a Night will feature Emmy Award-winning composer, philanthropist, and New York Times best-selling author Peter Buffett. Buffett, Co-Chair of the NoVo Foundation and son of legendary investor Warren Buffett, will share his music and the message of his book Life Is What You Make It -- offering perspectives on defining one’s own path, including helping create a better world. He will talk about the rewards of self-respect and the value of pursuing one’s individual passions. With his wife Jennifer Buffett, he is a past recipient of Synergos’ David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award.
We will also use this occasion to honor entrepreneur, philanthropist, and New York City mayor Michael R. Bloomberg with the David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award. Learn more at www.universityforanight.org.
