In 2014 David became a Partner and Managing Director at Michael Kyprianou. Michael Kyprianou LLC is a leading Legal Consultancy Firm in Cyprus with offices also in Greece, Ukraine, UAE and UK. The law firm (Michael Kyprianou LLC) did not have a gaming division and he was asked to set up and run this department in Malta. Michael Kyprianou has over 250 employees worldwide.
He was a previously a Founder and Managing Director at Lex Corporate Services. Lex Corporate Services was a start-up Corporate Services Provider servicing clients in Malta and Cyprus.
Between the years 2014-2015, he was a Senior Legal Consultant / Key Official with EveryMatrix Ltd. He was responsible for offering advice to the legal and compliance team and management in general on ways of how to safeguard the organization from legal complications that arise and plan for others that could arise in the future.
In the year 2012, he was the Head Of Legal & Compliance / Key Official with Matrix, Responsible for ensuring that the organisation is compliant with the Legislation, Regulations and Directives issued by the Maltese Authorities, European Institutions and other Statutory Bodies through the development, implementation and monitoring of effective policies and procedures.
In the year 2012, he took the role of a Compliance Officer, he was responsible for staying informed on any regulatory changes taking place not only in jurisdictions that company operates in but also every other jurisdiction which might present an opportunity for Greentube Malta (Novomatic Group) in the future.
In 2011 he formed part of the legal as Junior Lawyer with Francis Zammit Dimech Advocates. He was responsible for assisting the firms’ partners in their daily duties and caseloads and was also personally responsible for a number of client accounts who operate mainly in the banking and gaming and intellectual property law sectors. David was also the firms’ contact for clients in matters relating to employment law.
In 2010 he took the role of Marketing Executive with Vodafone Malta, as a Marketing Executive, his role changed, and he was now solely responsible for the promotion and growth of Vodafone Live and Vodafone SMS Flash.
In 2008 David became part of the Vodafone Marketing team and as part of this team he was responsible for the creation and the launch of all marketing campaigns related to Vodafone Malta pre-paid customers.
2006, David occupied the post of Business Bandwidth Clerk managing the day to day running and promotion of the Vodafone Malta Wi-Fi hot spots which were in a number of public areas and hotels around Malta and Gozo.
2004 held the position of Dealer Channel Clerk, he was responsible for organising and overseeing the sale and distribution of top-up cards, used by customers on a pre-paid tariff, to shops which offered them for sale to the end-user across Malta & Gozo.
In 2004 joined Vodafone Malta as a Customer Care Administration Clerk assisting the Police of Malta with ongoing criminal investigations and providing information with regards to mobile phone usage by individuals who were being investigated.
His first work experience was in 2003, with the English School Malta as TEFL Teacher, teaching English both written and spoken to students who visit Malta purposely to learn the language.
