Senior Partner at TransAsia Lawyers and leader of the employment law and intellectual property law practices, Dr Wan is a graduate of Peking University (LL.M in International Economics Law with High Distinction; LL.D in Intellectual Property Law). She has 26 years' experience in advising clients on foreign direct investments in China and has participated in negotiations under numerous JV projects. Dr Wan is the first non-PRC national to serve as a Director of the China Labor Law Studies Association, following her nomination in 1997 by the PRC Ministry of Labor & Social Security (MOLSS, now known as the Ministry of Human Resources & Social Security). In 2006, she was appointed as a Director of the China Social Security Law Research Association, serving in which role as the sole representative from the Hong Kong SAR. Dr Wan is also Deputy Director of the Legal Committee of China E-Commerce Association.
