Lee Hawley is the Managing Partner of HRT Edge Limited, a boutique advisory service firm specializing in building global people capabilities and overseas M&A.

Mr. Hawley is a trusted advisor to top executives of Asian and Global firms acquiring and integrating overseas businesses to transform and further globalize their organizations. As a globally experienced business professional, he has led and built human resource functions in top global companies.

Mr. Hawley was recently the Chief Human Resources Officer of Doosan Group, a Global Fortune 500 company headquartered in Seoul with global business operations strategically focused on infrastructure support. The company has led the market in its rapid global growth through numerous and large strategic overseas acquisitions. Recent examples include:

  • Babcock (a UK boiler company);
  • Bobcat (a US construction equipment company); and
  • Skoda Power (a Czech turbine company).

Significant strides have also been made in building global people capabilities for current and future business expansion. The successes and lessons learned are highly applicable to other Asian companies with global growth aspirations.

Mr. Hawley also has previous international business and has advised PepsiCo (a leading consumer products company known for top global talent), Cerberus (a top 10 Private Equity company) and The Hay Group (a leading global management consultancy). His prior role as Managing Director at Cerberus included broader business management and financial responsibilities.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hawley has worked with other business and function leaders to deliver sustainable results while building the organization and talents for future growth.

He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from New York University and continuously seeks to stay at the forefront of innovative thinking and practice.
