Biography

Luca Cavallari is a consultant with extensive experience in the European and Chinese retail industry. Having spent the last 10 years in China, Mr. Cavallari has developed strong expertise in assisting European brands to establish a presence in the Chinese market. His main areas of specialty are strategy development, market and competitive analysis, business due diligence, investor advisory and support, and sales and distribution channels.

Mr. Cavallari graduated from Bocconi University, Milan, Italy with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Law, and moved to China in 2005. He acted as the CFO of Value Partners China until 2009 and was later promoted to the Senior Advisor (a position he holds to this day). As the Senior Advisor, Mr. Cavallari develops business plans and market entry strategies for several Italian and international fashion brands in China.

In 2009, he co-founded the Pure Fashion (fashion brand consulting and distribution firm) and was its Co-Managing Director. He was also:

• The Treasurer and a member of board directors of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China from 2009 to 2013; and
• A Consultant at RDM Fingen Asia and Vitalitex from 2010 to 2012.

In addition to the achievements mentioned above, Mr. Cavallari has actively participated in the following:

• Senior Vice President of China Excellent Outlets Co., Ltd. since 2013;
• Member of the Operating Committee of EMcap Partners in Paris since 2012; and
• Consulting for prestigious companies like Yintai.com since 2010.

He advised and built a platform (www.cruitaly.com) for Infohold Group which specialized in O2O and the distribution of Italian wine, furniture, and fashion. He is still involved as its Strategic Director.
