Powerful growth will define the future of Latin America’s e-commerce market: 29% growth in volume between 2020 and 2024 with a projected volume of more than US$580 billion, according to Americas Market Intelligence (AMI) analysis from its 2020-2024 LatAm E-Commerce Datapack.
There are 64,680 foreign companies in Chile, which account for only 9.6% of the total number of companies in the country. Although this percentage may seem small, these companies have significantly benefited the Chilean economy.
Foreign companies are taking concrete steps to make green hydrogen, the so-called fuel of the future, a reality in Chile. This is because Enaex and Engie, as well as a consortium made up of GNL Quintero, Enagás and Accion Energía, are interested in developing initiatives in the Antofagasta and Valparaíso regions, respectively.
Foreign investment in Chile didn’t stop for the pandemic. This is clear from the results of InvestChile’s portfolio of projects, which at the close of the first half of this year recorded an increase of 28% in the total value of its initiatives, rising to nearly US$24 billion from US$18.8 billion at the same date in 2020.
