HRH the Crown Prince and Minister of Finance in China

From October 25th to 28th, a delegation composed of 110 executives from the Luxembourg financial industry, headed by HRH Prince Guillaume, Crown Prince of Luxembourg, and led by HE Pierre Gramegna, Minister of Finance, visited China to deepen collaboration between Luxembourg and China. Two Chinese banks, China Everbright Bank and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, have confirmed their intention to set up a presence in Luxembourg in order to serve the European market. If approved by the Chinese and Luxembourg regulators, this would bring the total number of Chinese banks in Luxembourg to eight.

Deputy PM of China visits Luxembourg

On Wednesday 19 October 2016, the Deputy Prime Minister of China, and member of the Central Committee Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party, MA Kai, was in the Grand Duchy on an official visit where he had an audience with HRH the Grand Duke at the royal palace.
