Polish delegation, consisting of companies and representatives of local authorities from Eastern Poland Macroregion, participated in the ANNUAL INVESTMENT MEETING (AIM) in Dubai.
AIM is an event which has been permanently inscribed in the calendar of investors from around the world. It attracts entrepreneurs and representatives of the state authorities from Asia, Europe, Africa and North America who are looking for new areas of investment.
The forum is organized under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Emir of Dubai, Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, and the main organizer is Emirati Ministry of Economy, headed by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri.
This year, the Eastern Poland Macroregion was represented by a strong group of entrepreneurs and local government authorities. In addition to the Forum, the delegation held meetings in the Hamiriyah Free Zone and met with the state investment fund of the Emirati Government Ras Al Khaimah - Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority (RAKIA). The delegation also took part in the Africa Global Business Forum, organized by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. During the AIM Eastern Poland’s stand attracted a lot of interest from both visitors as well the Emirati media.
Among companies from Eastern Poland presenting their products at the AIM, were representatives of the food industry (Bartex, Dairy EkoŁukta, Lactex, Lubsad, Dairy Cooperative Łapy, Uren Novaberry), furniture (Meblodex), industrial (Remog, Royal-Star), luxury goods, yachts (Balt Yacht, Mellody Yachts, Nautiner, Sedna Yachts) and the hotel industry (Binkowski Hotel, Zamek Ryn, Zbyszko, Condohotels Management).
