PCCC seals $1.6bn Zambia hydropower deal

(PCCC) announced late on Friday that its international arm, Sinohydro, has signed a $1.6bn contract to build a hydroelectric station in Zambia. The project will involve the installation of 750,000kW of power generating capacity within 51 months. PCCC one of the largest infrastructure designers and constructors in China; it reported RMB 167.1bn ($26.2bn) in revenue and RMB 4.8bn ($751.7m) in net profit for 2014.
